Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art, characterized by punching and kicking techniques, with emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. Did you know that over 70 million people worldwide practice Taekwondo? Taekwondo has also appeared in many movies! Celebrities like Jean Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, and Jackie Chan have all featured Taekwondo in their films. Did you know that taekwondo has a low injury rate, even when compared to other mixed martial arts? Safety is the upmost priority of Double D. Under the supervision of our instructors, and proper warm up and cool down routines, injury rates can be minimise to the lowest!
